FUNNYMAN David Walliams has been spotted filming in the Govanhill area of Glasgow.
Several roads including Calder Street were forced to close last week for the filming of the TV adaptation of his children's book The Midnight Gang.
David told his fans on social media: "Filming has begun on the TV adaptation of my children's book The Midnight Gang. I play the headmaster. It will be on BBC One at Christmas."

Govanhill Baths Community Trust shared their delight in having the famous face on their premises.
In a post on social media, the Trust said: "Delighted to welcome David Walliams to Govanhill Baths yesterday for location filming!"
Walliams, 47, is best known for his sketch show Little Britain. He is also an author of children's books which have sold more than 25 million copies and been translated in 53 lanuages.
He has been a judge on ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent since 2012.
