A MAN was rushed to hospital after reportedly setting himself on fire in Glasgow
Emergency services rushed to Sauchiehall Street to tend to the man, who was in his twenties.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Evening Times: “Police were called to a report of a man on fire on Sauchiehall Street at around 2pm on Sunday, September 30.
“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to receive treatment for his injuries.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We received a call at 2pm on Sunday to attend an incident on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
“We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and transported a man in his twenties to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”
