The funeral of a young girl who died suddenly in Hamilton has taken place today.
Rachel Stevens passed away suddenly at Wishaw General Hospital after being found unwell at her home.
The service took place the day after what would have been her 13th birthday at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, High Blantyre.
More than £5,000 was raised for her family to help pay for the service through an online fundraising page.
MSP Monica Lennon paid tribute to the youngster, who attended St. John Ogilvie High School.

Posting on social media, the politician wrote: "Rachel Steven would have celebrated her 13th birthday today.
"Tomorrow is her funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with Rachel’s heartbroken parents, family and friends at @StJOHS.
"May she rest in peace."
Another well wisher wrote: "Heart goes out to Rachel Stevens family today ! As they say their final good byes to Rachel.
"Hope you get the send off you deserve hunny and have a ball up there with the angels."

Police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
