A second storey flat in Nitshill had its windows blown out after a gas explosion.
Emergency services were called to Nitshill Road around 10pm on Wednesday night.
The fire was said to be caused by gas igniting.
Firefighters raced to the scene and extinguished the blaze with no casualties reported.
A block of flats has been fenced off following the blast as contractors work to make the buildings safe.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 10.09pm on Wednesday, October 3 to reports of a fire after gas ignited within a second floor flat on Nitshill Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene and firefighters extinguished the flames.
“There are no casualties.
“Crews currently remain in attendance as they work to make the area safe.”
