HORROR fans can look forward to a pop-up cinema experience ahead of the scariest night of the year.

From October 25 to 28 Horror Nights organisers claim the event will offer four days of horror favourites and entertainment in a spooky environment.

Set in an old abandoned warehouse, the event this year kicks off with Scottish stand-up comic Dee Maxwell.

There will be screenings of 90s classic Hocus Pocus, Nightmare on Elm Street and The Conjuring 2.

The giant screen at Horror Nights is accompanied by a terror maze filled with live scares to get guests in the Halloween mood.

There’ll also be lots of scary events throughout the movie, including creepy rituals and the chance to meet some horror characters face to face.

Elon Rogan, Event Manager of Horror Nights, said: “Scare Cinemas have been a part of Halloween celebrations in America for years and we are excited to be importing buckets full of terror to Glasgow at this unique venue.

“We have a great selection of movies, scary monsters and a live performance by Dee Maxwell on our first night - what more can anyone ask for from a great Halloween night out?”
