The final countdown is on until the UK’s largest urban pancake house opens in Glasgow.

Stack & Still will be opening its doors to the public on Thursday from 12pm.

The eatery is the brainchild of the team behind Gin71, Cup Tea Rooms and The Gin Spa.

Glasgow businessman Paul Reynolds has taken over the former Byron Burger unit on West George Street to bring the concept to life.

Stack & Still's menu will offer over 12 million possible combinations, including buttermilk, buckwheat, gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, sugar-free and protein selections.

In a Glasgow first, a self-dispense bar will be on offer with a selection of 16 beers, ales, ciders and Prosecco.

Despite taking a staggering 2,455 bookings in just two days, those desperate for a first look into the pancake paradise can still reserve a table.
