The family of an Airdrie man are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare after he failed to show up to work.
Stewart McEwan was last seen leaving his home address on Kennedy Drive around 5.55am on Friday morning.
The 29-year-old has been going through personal issues recently.
He is described as being white, 6ft 4, of slim build with short, dark hair and facial stubble.
When last seen he was wearing tracksuit bottoms with the word ‘Ellesse’ down the left leg, a navy blue jacket and white leather converse trainers.
He was also driving a grey coloured BMW 1 Series, registration number YC60 YUK.
Sergeant Thomas Cairns, Airdrie Police Office, said: “Stewart was reported missing when he did not turn up for work this morning and as time passes ourselves and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.
“We know he has been going through some personal issues lately and officers have been checking CCTV and speaking to those who know him.
“He frequents the Airdrie and Wishaw areas, but could have travelled further, and we are appealing for anyone who has seen Stewart, or his BMW vehicle, to get in touch.”
Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 1222 of Friday October 12 2018.
