The Scottish SPCA is seeking a new home for Willow, a one-year-old spaniel who arrived in the care of the Scottish SPCA through no fault of her own.
Anna O’Donnell, manager of the charity’s animal rescue and rehoming centre in Glasgow, said, “Willow is a timid but affectionate lady who is looking for a patient owner to give her a second chance at happiness.
“Once she settles in, Willow will make a loving family dog. She enjoys mentally stimulating training and is quick to pick up tricks and commands.
“She is a friendly and active pup and would be best suited to a family with older children. She adores other dogs and would benefit from having a settled companion in the home that can keep up with her energy levels.
“Willow has had a tough go of things and is looking for an understanding owner to help her transition into her new surroundings.
“She just wants to be loved like all dogs but so far has been overlooked. She just needs someone to stop and notice her intelligence and her friendly nature.”
Anyone who can offer Willow the home she deserves should contact the Scottish SPCA’s centre in Glasgow on 03000 999 999.
