A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital after a fight within a house in Pollok.
The 28-year-old received a serious neck injury during the attack which happened at around 4.30am on Saturday within a house in Househillwood Road.
He was rushed by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Another man, 30, was taken to hospital to be treated for a leg injury but he was later released.
The Evening Times understands that forensic officers were at the scene on Saturday afternoon gathering evidence following the fight.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "About 4.30am on Saturday, police attended a report of a disturbance within a house in Househillwood Road, Pollok where there were two men with injuries.
"The men aged 28 and 30 were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"A 30-year-old man was treated for a leg injury before he was released.
"A 28-year-old man is currently being treated in hospital for a serious neck injury where hospital staff describe his condition as critical.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
