A POPULAR Glasgow hotel is to celebrate the 90th birthday of Mickey Mouse with the a Disney-style soiree.

The Blysthwood Square Hotel called in a couple, albeit slightly less than 10, dalmatian puppies to announce plans for a Disney season celebration.

The dog friendly hotel allowed the adorable pups and their mum to visit The Salon Bar for a drink before settling down with a couple of treats for a screening of the hit cartoon.

Guests will be able to do the same from Monday, November 12, with a range of Disney themed cocktails and afternoon tea on offer.

A special edition of the longstanding Square Eyes Cinema Club will screen One Hundred and One Dalmatians and Beauty and the Beast.

Murray Thomson, general manager of The Blythswood said: "Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse and the global phenomenon that is Disney.

"The team here at the hotel were delighted to welcome our very special Dalmatian guests this week, in fact we always happy to welcome dogs to the hotel. However, we would never welcome Cruella.”

Afternoon tea is priced at £29.00 per person, with under 12s at £12.95.

Adult tickets for Square Eyes Cinema Club are priced at £35.00 per person plus booking fee.

Ticket price includes afternoon tea, a glass of fizz, popcorn and a classic movie screening in our private cinema room.
