THE first release of properties in one of the city’s largest private housing developments has been launched.

The 156-home development in Glasgow’s South Side is located along the banks of the White Cart River.

As previously reported by the Evening Times, the leader of Glasgow City Council officially launched the development in June.

Today, Glasgow-based CCG (Scotland) Ltd’s Riverford Gardens project has moved a step closer as the first release of a mix of two bedroom apartments, three bed semi detached houses and four bedroom terraced villas with integral garages in unveiled.

The second release is now also available for reservation.

Homebuyers can expect to move in from January 2019 with each property boasting spacious, open-plan living areas and environmentally-friendly features.

Riverford Gardens also offers private parking and green space, access to a range of local shopping amenities and good transport links to the City Centre.

Susan Aitken, who is also City Convener for Inclusive Economic Growth, previous;y described how the development will play a part in “the continued regeneration of Pollokshaws.”

Calum Murray, director of CCG Homes, said Riverford Gardens is an “outstanding proposition” for homebuyers.

He added: “There are not many city-based developments that can offer a riverside location or access to an array of amenities and transport links to the extent of Riverford Gardens.

“Our sales team has taken a great deal of time and care to make sure we have offered everything the modern buyer could want.

Prices start from £177,000 with support from Help to Buy available for properties up to £200,000.
