Morrisons has launched a new eight chilli-rated curry after complaints that it’s Volcanic Vindaloo was nowhere near hot enough.

Customer and self-confessed chilli connoisseur, Paul McCourt, complained to the supermarket about their Volcanic Vindaloo which was “not hot enough by any standards” and asked them to make a much hotter version.

Now Morrisons has created the Flaming Fiery Phaal to mark National Curry Week next week and it even comes with a warning.

It has an eight chilli rating, which Morrisons claim makes it the hottest supermarket curry ever.

It contains Scorpion chillies as well as Naga and green chillies. Other ingredients include chargrilled chicken breast, a tomato and onion base, and loads of spices.

The Flaming Fiery Phaal was launched this week in Morrisons stores and costs £2.
