GLASGOW'S motorways are in chaos after two rush hour smashes.
The M8 westbound junction 24 offslip at Govan is blocked due to a crash around 5.20pm, causing slow traffic on the approach.
Police are in attendance.

Meanwhile, lane one of two is closed on the M77 southbound between junction one and two following a crash around 3.50pm.

Traffic is queued back to on to the M8 westbound at junction 14 to junction 22 and the M74 westbound from junction 1a.
As previously reported by the Evening Times, a bus has caught fire on the M8 at Shieldhall causing delays in the area.

Traffic Scotland have warned drivers to approach the areas with caution.
The area remains slow, with congestion reported on the M8, M77 and M74.
