A social media appeal has been launched to help find the furry friend of a two-year-old who is yet to discover he is missing.
Whilst walking in Rouken Glen Park yesterday (Friday), Louise Borland and her son Ruairdh misplaced the two-year-old's favourite toy cat Alan and are now desperate to try and trace him to avoid heartbreak.
In a desperate Facebook post, Louise wrote: "This well loved, scabby guy is called Alan. On an adventure to Rouken Glen Park this afternoon, we managed to misplace him.
"Two year old Ruairdh, usually seen accompanying him is going to be absolutely devastated when he inevitably discovers he’s missing.
"We think that he is likely to have been misplaced around the play park.
"We are appealing to the wonderful world of facebook to help find him. If seen today or spotted over the next few days can you please get in contact."
The cat is a 'scabby' grey and white toy with a white stomach and green eyes.
