A CITY school has been battling to eradicate an infestation of mice.
Holy Cross Primary School in Glasgow's Govanhill has received a visit from the council's pest control.
The Evening Times understands that the rodents have been found in the staff room, toilets, dining area and several classrooms of the Calder Street School - with daily mice droppings reported.
One parent, who did not want to named, told The Evening Times that their child spotted one of the rodent's in a classroom.
She said: "
Council spokeswoman said: "Pest control has visited the school and are dealing with the problem and will check the school before the staff and pupils return next week after the holidays."
