ALL across Glasgow people are thanking refuse workers who gave up on two days of pay to support the equay pay march. 

Every refuse worker in the city walked out in solidarity on Tuesday and Wednesday over the ongoing dispute. 

Men attended work at nine depots around Glasgow but refused to cross picket lines, downing tools and walking out.

And now Glasgow has shown its thanks with messages of support appearing on bins all across the city for the workers.

Following the strike action, city chiefs agreed to get back round the table and formally begin negotiations.
