DUNDEE manager Jim McIntyre admitted his side were not strong enough both mentally and physically in their thrashing by Celtic.
And he couldn't believe his player didn't appeal a penalty that should never have been given when Mikael Lustig took a dive in the box.
hat made it 2-0 and while McIntyre didn't try to pretend it would have made any real difference, he could not believe his players did hound referee Alan Muir.
The Dens Park have three points after eleven games and it's clear McIntyre, who has lost his three games charge, has a big task on his hands.
He said: "We were yoo passive. That’s what I would say. Our game plan was to make sure we sat off Celtic in their half and try to play counter-attack.
"But we had to make contact in their half. At Tom Rogic’s goal, we gave four or five yards away – that’s too much with his quality. We’ve got to have contact on the ball.
"The second goal is not a penalty. But we don’t even claim. We don’t hound the referee. We should be hounding the referee. All we did was ask when we should be hounding him.
"Two of the next three goals were just midfield runners. It’s haemorrhaging the confidence. Celtic started to play free-flowing football.
"We’re a bit fragile with the confidence levels. Nobody is going to help us. It will have to come from ourselves."
