TRAFFIC on a busy Glasgow road is beginning to return to normal after an overturned horse box with two animals inside forced the closure of two lanes on the M77 southbound this morning.
The road was affected at around 8.40am between junctions 3 and 4 (near Newton Mearns) due to the incident, and motorists were advised to approach with caution, as well as expect delays.
But, Traffic Scotland is now reporting that the horse box has been cleared and the M77 is returning to normal.
Severe weather warning are in place until midnight as heavy rain batters Glasgow.
