A GLASGOW man has made a heartfelt plea to find the stranger who helped him after a fall.

Gerry Maguire was walking from Kinning Park subway station to the Celtic Music Radio Studios on Admiral Street on October 10 when he tripped and fell over.

A kind-hearted stranger named William rushed to Gerry's aid.

But Gerry has been unable to thank the good Samaritan for his assistance, prompting a heartfelt plea to track down the care worker.

All Gerry, who suffered nasty facial injuries in the fall, knows is William works in the care industry but is not employed at either of the two care homes closest to incident.

In a Facebook post Gerry said: "I've been trying to track him down to thank him but so far I've not been successful.

"I know he is a care worker -but he's not employed in either of the 2 care homes I contacted in the Kinning Park area.

"So Facebook friends, can you share this post in the hope I can say a proper thank you to William?"
