CANADIAN coffee chain Tim Hortons will be opening its first Scottish drive thru restaurant in Paisley.
The cafe and bake shop chain will be opening to the public on Linwood Road in the coming weeks.
The first Tim Hortons in the U.K. opened its doors in Argyle Street in June 2017, with fans travelling from across the country and queuing overnight to sample to be the first to try its coffee and baking.
Since then, the company has expanded to a number of other locations including Silverburn Shopping Centre, George Street, Bishopbriggs, Govan and Motherwell.
Kevin Hydes, Chief Finance and Commercial Officer of the Tim Hortons franchise in the U.K. said: “We are thrilled to be bringing our famous brewed coffee, French Vanilla, Donuts, Timbits and freshly-prepared food to Linwood Road, Paisley.
“We have had a wonderful welcome from the people of Scotland since we first opened in Glasgow last year and this will be the first of many Drive Thru Restaurants to satisfy customers looking for great fresh food and delicious coffee on the go”.
