Glasgow could soon be welcoming another LGBTQ+ nightclub.
Plans have been submitted to transform an empty city pub into the latest late-night venue, which would also be used a meeting place for the community.
Developers are looking to open in the former Lampost Bar at 37 Saltmarket.
Applicant, Bonjour Ltd, states the building would be used as a licensed performance, arts and events space for the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and other sexual identities) community.
If permission is granted, the club will have a license for the hours of 7pm to 3am, seven days a week, but in practice the premises would not be open all that time.
Outwith the hours, it is proposed that the club is used as a meeting space for charities and groups.
The plans are due to go before Glasgow City Council in the coming months.
