A MAN who had his fingers chopped off with a machete in an attack in the city’s Calton was targeted.
Police Scotland confirmed that the 35-year-old is in a stable condition following the brutal assault which we reported on yesterday.
The force cordoned off Millroad Street following the disturbance which happened on Monday night.
Officers said they discovered a man with injuries to his head and hands.
It is understood that his fingers were chopped off with a machete.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Police Scotland said their enquires into the attack were continuing.
