IT'S the event Making a Murderer fans have been waiting for.
US Law professors Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin will be discussing false confessions, interrogation tactics, and the wrongful conviction of Brendan Dassey, at a special event in Maryhill Community Central Halls on December 8.
The shocking story of the Theresa Halbach murder case and subsequent trials of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey captivated audiences worldwide all over again in the long-awaited second instalment of the smash-hit Netflix crime series.

Professors Nirider and Drizin will be discussing issues raised in the series, in particular their involvement in the ongoing appeal process of Brendan Dassey.
