A MAN has been arrested after an alleged carjacking in Easterhouse.
The incident happened at around 5.50pm in Lochend Road on Thursday.
Police said a 47-year-old man allegedly had his BMW 5 series stolen.
The force confirmed that no one was injured.
A 36-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the incident. He has been charged and arrested.
The Evening Times understands that the car has been recovered.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 5.50pm, a 47-year-old man had his BMW 5 Series car allegedly stolen from him by another man in Lochend Road, Easterhouse.
"Nobody was injured and a 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court."
