A BRAND new burger bar is set to mark its grand opening next week by giving away free food to its customers

Bath St. Burger is set to open on Wednesday, November 14, offering "delicious, high quality burgers, shakes, craft beers and cocktails", replacing Prep Fitness Kitchen in the unit at 22 Bath Street.

Owners will then provide free food to the first 100 people through its doors on Friday, November 16.

With 70s funk, soul and disco and an awesome graffiti backdrop, the trendy spot is set to be a welcome addition to the city's food scene.

The mural itself was created by Bobby McNamara, AKA Rogue One, one of the most famous street artists in Europe.

The exciting menu which includes The Kevin Bacon Burger (double beef patties, a double dose of smoky bacon and American cheese), The Brisket Burger (double beef patties topped with slow cooked BBQ beef brisket, gherkins and French mustard) and the Thunder Bird (Kentucky chicken breast, double smoky bacon, American cheese & BBQ sauce), with plenty for the public to sink their teeth into.

Food and drink will be served from 12pm – 10pm every day, and from 10pm, the venue cuts it back, clear the tables, flick a switch and become a beer and cocktail bar until 1am.
