HOLLYWOOD actor Gerard Butler has revealed the damage caused to his Malibu home by the most destructive wildfire in Californian history.
The Paisley-born star, 48, was among the many evacuated from their homes as the fires took hold.
He took to social media to say: “Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you Los Angeles Fire Department. If you can, support these brave men and women at SupportLAFD.org.”
The overall death toll from the outbreak of fires at both ends of the state stood at 25 on Sunday and appeared likely to climb.
Other celebrities including Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian West left their homes.
