THE heartbroken daughter of a missing woman has said she does not want another Christmas without her mum on the year anniversary of her disappearance.

Patricia Henry, 46, has not been seen by family or friends since Monday, November 13, last year.

She was first reported missing in March this year and despite a major police investigation into her whereabouts, her family are no closer to finding out what happened to her.

Her daughter Alannah McGrory said: “One Christmas has already passed without my Mum being here and we don’t want another to go by without her. We really miss her so much and are desperate to hear from her.

“We are so worried about her and everyday that passes with no word or contact from her we become even more anxious.

“If anyone has any idea where my Mum could be or has seen her since she went missing please let the police know.”

Police Scotland previously revealed that Patricia had moved out of Paisley to Girvan. The force also deployed forensic officers to the missing woman’s homes in Girvan and Paisley in a bid to find clues as to her whereabouts.

The force also said they cannot rule out that she may have come to harm.

Detective Chief Inspector Suzie Chow, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Teams, said: “Despite the passage of time I am still appealing for anyone who has any knowledge of Patricia’s current whereabouts to get in touch. Although I have said before we cannot rule out that she may have come to harm, I am still treating Patricia as a missing person.

“My thoughts are very much with her family and friends who are understandably incredibly anxious to hear from her.

“I am urging anyone with any information about where Patricia is or where she may have been to contact Police Scotland.

“I previously made an appeal for information about the movements of a white van which travelled between the Glenburn area of Paisley and Girvan. I am able to confirm that we have traced the occupant of this van and our enquiries are continuing.

“Since March this year officers have stopped and spoken with hundreds of local people in Renfrewshire and South Ayrshire to try and jog their memories and find out if they remember seeing Patricia since she went missing and handed out posters. Properties in Girvan and Paisley have also been searched.”

“We would appeal for anyone who knows Patricia, or has any idea where she may have gone to come forward and contact us. We would also appeal to Patricia herself to come forward and let her family or the police know she is okay.”

Patricia is described as white, 5ft 10 inches, of slim build and has collar length brown hair. Patricia has a tattoo of two clouds, outlined in blue, with a red rose and green stem with the word ‘Patti’ on her left arm.

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 3401 of Wednesday 14 March 2018. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
