A MAJOR Glasgow road has been closed after a man was hit by a car.
It's understood the man was hit on Crownpoint Road around 5.55pm this evening.
Surrounding roads have been closed as emergency services are on the scene.

The Gallowgate is closed from Abercromby Street to Fielden Street and drivers have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
Police are on the scene directing traffic away from the incident.
The condition of the man is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed: "We received a report of a man being hit by a vehicle on Crownpoint Road around 5.55pm.
"Emergency services are on the scene."
