A CONSTRUCTION company has now been appointed to take forward the £9.7 million redevelopment of a B-listed Strathclyde University building.
Kier Construction Scotland will take over plans for the six-storey high Wolfson Building, which will turn it into the centre of Strathclyde’s UK-leading Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The work is due to start shortly and the building is due to be completed by early 2020.
The programme of work comprises of providing new facilities, including research and teaching laboratories, increased office accommodation for staff and students and new social spaces for students.
