A BUSY West End road has reopened to traffic after being closed due to a late-night police incident.
Dumbarton Road closed to all traffic between Crow Road and Peel Street due to a just before 11pm on Sunday.
Road users had been urged to avoid the area and to consider alternate routes.
Police Scotland said a road crash brought the closure about after worried locals reported that someone had been knocked down.
The Evening Times has contacted the force for more comment.
Dumbarton Road reopened again at 2am on Monday.
