Body found in Bellahouston Park is missing Denny man John Scott
POLICE have confirmed a body found in Bellahouston Park is that of a 37-year-old man who went missing last Tuesday.
Officers confirmed the remains of John Scott remains were discovered near to a sports centre in the park on Wednesday afternoon.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A Police statement read: "Police in Forth Valley can confirm that the body of missing man John Scott was found in Glasgow.
"The 37-year-old was discovered within Bellahouston Park at around 2.30pm on Wednesday 28th November.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
