STV’s Jennifer Reoch is looking forward to an unpredictable but exciting new year after leaving the channel this week.

The model turned STV2 telly presenter is still the face of the Scottish children’s Lottery but told me at the recent Spuntini restaurant launch: ”I’m leaving STV as a staff member this week and branching out into the big freelance world. There is nothing concrete at the moment but I’ve speaking with lots of people and I think it could be a really good year going forward.”

Jennifer’s former colleague David Farrell recently secured a job with a new BBC channel, so who knows what could come up next

Swedish stage spot for band star

GLASVEGAS singer James Allan ended up joining Swedish group Weeping Willows on stage at their concert in Gothenburg.

James was in Germany to visit a family member when he got a chance to catch up with Magnus Carlson and the gang.

He ended up joining them for a rendition of Glasvegas hit A Snowflake Fell and thanked them for being a “pure gentleman and lady”.

The lads play the Barras on December 14 and celebrate 10 years since they released their self titled album.

James is also feeling like celebrating at the moment after recently getting engaged to his other half Molly.

In an online post he told fans who came to his tour: “Thank you all for helping me buy the love of my life a ring.. P.S. she said yes. James.”

LOVE Island’s Eyal Booker is winging his way to Scotland to shine some light on the festive season.

Hunky Eyal who was recently on Celebs Go Dating was seen kissing Rita Ora over the last week but has since said any romance is just speculation.

I’m hoping to get a wee insight into his world when I’m hosting at the Irvine Christmas lights tomorrow from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

Eyal, who will also be doing a meet and greet at the bash around 4pm, will be jumping on stage with me.

He’s just filmed the Love Island reunion and is currently catching up on his sleep, so let’s hope he’s bright-eyed and ready to rock tomorrow.
