A man threatened petrol station staff and stole cigarettes early in the morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery in Paisley around 6.25 on Monday.
A man waked into the BP garage in Greenock Road and threatened a male staff member with a weapon and demanded cigarettes. He then ran off towards Caledonia Court, with a quantity of cigarettes.
The member of staff was uninjured but badly shaken as a result of this incident.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, around 5ft 8 inches in height with dark-coloured hair, wearing a high viz vest and a black hooded jacket, carrying a red holdall
