SOCIAL media users across the city have been warning other of icy conditions this morning.
It comes as the Met Office issues a yellow “be aware” warning for ice from 10pm last night to 10am this morning.
The national weather service said: “Icy patches are expected overnight and on Tuesday morning.

“There will probably be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, meaning an increased likelihood of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.”
Twitter users have already been telling of near slips and falls across Glasgow and its surrounding areas.

The Met Office has said of the rest of the day’s forecast: “It will be bright but rather cloudy, though a frosty start in places with some freezing fog, especially into Ayrshire.
“Some showers too, mainly towards the coast and over Argyll and wintry on hills, but more in the way of sunshine in afternoon.”
The maximum temperature today is expected to be 7°C.
