A SECTION of the M74 has been sealed off this morning following a serious accident.
Traffic Scotland raised the alarm at around 6.30am.
The route affected is southbound, junction 11 Poneil.
Traffic is being diverted off at the junction and coming back on at junction 13 Abington.

South Lanarkshire Council added: “The M74 southbound has been closed between Jct 11 and 12 due to an accident. Traffic is being diverted off the motorway at Jct 11 Poniel onto the B7078, past Cairn Lodge.”
