IT’S all change from this weekend as new ScotRail timetables prepare to roll out.
The national rail provider said the changes, from Sunday, December 9, will deliver faster journeys, more seats and more services for customers.
The introduction of both high-speed trains and new Class 385 electric trains - as well as major infrastructure improvements like the electrification of the Stirling-Dunblane-Alloa route - will all enable the delivery of the enhanced timetable.
ScotRail said: “This major timetable improvement is an important step in our journey towards building the best railway Scotland has ever had, with further timetable improvements to come in 2019.”
