IRN-BRU Carnival bosses are on the hunt for for five talented Glasgow youngsters to become the official ambassadors for Europe’s largest indoor funfair.

To mark the end of what has been the Year of Young People 2018, the chosen lucky five will be able to visit the funfair at any day and time they want.

With unlimited, free access to the carnival for them and three friends or family members, the group will share their experience and top tips on the Irn-Bru Carnival’s social media channels.

Greg Cherry, managing director of QD Events, organiser of the event, said: “The Irn-Bru Carnival is one of Glasgow’s most iconic holiday events, so who better to help us tell that story than young Glaswegians?

“Our five young ambassadors will get unlimited access to the thrill and fun of the ultimate playground and, even better, they’ll be able to treat their friends and family too. It’s the perfect early Christmas present.”

To apply, budding applicants, aged between five and 18-years-old, should email a 20-second video explaining why they love the carnival to carnival@framecreates.co.uk before Monday, December 17.

The Irn-Bru Carnival returns to the SEC in Glasgow on Thursday, December 20 until Sunday, January 13 2019.

With over 60 rides and attractions, organisers have promised the annual event will be “bigger and better” than ever before.

Greg added: “As we celebrate our 100th birthday next year, it’s apparent that the Irn-Bru Carnival has become an iconic part of Scotland’s festive season.

“Not only have we entertained generations of families and friends, but we’ve continued to grow year-on-year with new thrilling experiences to be enjoyed by both returning and new guests.”
