Glasgow should expect disruption to its rail and road links on Friday after a yellow weather warning for wind was issued across the country.
Gales of up to 80mph could hit the city during the morning commute.
The spell of strong winds onFriday will begin around 5am, with weather experts warning of likely issues with travel and daily routine.

The distinction also means there could be a potential "danger to life" as well as a chance of power cuts in local areas.
Met Office bosses have also warned that ferry travel and some flights could be affected.
The warning, which will be in place from 5am on Friday until midnight on Saturday, covers the whole of Scotland and could play a part in many people's weekend plans.

A Met Office statement reads: "A deep area of low pressure will bring severe gales across Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland on Friday, leading to some disruption to transport. Stay weather aware.
"The location of the strongest winds will become clearer nearer the time."
