Royal Mail is launching four new ‘singing’ Christmas postboxes across the UK – one of which is in Glasgow.
The postbox, located on Queen Street, is part of a first for the company, with Royal Mail seeing massive demand for them.
The postboxes respond to post with one of three festive-themed ditties. These range from the sound of sleigh bells, to a jolly season’s greeting from Father Christmas.

The four new boxes are located in busy hotspots in Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, in addition to the ones previously launched in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast.
Royal Mail’s Simon Barker said “Delivering Christmas is our absolute priority this December.
“We enjoy any way we can add a little extra fun (and festivity!) to posting Christmas cards.”
