TWO suspects accused of attacking a man with a pool cue are to stand trial for his murder.
Kristopher Reynolds, 31, and Martin Argyelan, 26, allegedly killed James Thomson at his home in Yoker, Glasgow, in May this year.
Prosecutors claim he was punched and then repeatedly struck on the head and body with a pool cue or part of the weapon.
Mr Thomson is said to have been so severely injured, he died five days later in hospital.
Reynolds and Argyelan today appeared for a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Their lawyers entered not guilty pleas on their behalf.
Lord Burns set a trial due to begin in Glasgow next May.
The case could last up to 10 days.
