A second man has been charged in connection with the death of Mohammed Abu Sammour in Newarthill.
The 27-year-old is due to appear before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
The 49-year-old was found serious injured in Panmuir Crescent in the early hours of Sunday, October 28.

He was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital but died a short time later.
In November a 21-year-old was also arrested in connection to the murder investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information which could assist should contact Police Scotland via 101.
