A ROAD in Glasgow’s South Side will reopen fully after traffic management was put in place to allow for repairs.
It is now anticipated that Langside Drive will be reinstated by the evening of Christmas Eve.
Scottish Water said this is slightly later than originally planned due to the unforeseen discovery and subsequent repair of a damaged section of sewer during the works.
The road has been closed between its junction with Riverside Road and Tantallon Road to enable the utility’s contractors George Leslie to deliver a £3.2m investment project on the waste water infrastructure in the area.
The investment forms part of Scottish Water’s £250m, five-year programme of work, to improve river water quality.
