COPS have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to after a man was robbed in Govanhill.
The 44-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed by two men at around 7.45 pm on Thursday, June 28 in Bankhall Street.
He was left injured and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was treated for his injuries before being released.
Detectives are keen to speak to both men in the images as they believe they may have information that can assist with their ongoing investigation.
The first man is described as being of Asian appearance, in his 20s, short dark hair wearing black t-shirt bright yellow or green shorts, black trainers.
The second man is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, with short or shaved hair, dark coloured t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.
Detective Constable Fiona McIlloney, from Cathcart Police Station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding this robbery or anyone who may recognise these men in the images to contact police at Cathcart CID via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 4194 of 28 June 2018.
"Alternatively calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained."
