THE Methodist churches in Llandudno and Craig-y-Don have prepared a jam packed Christmas programme.

It is designed to appeal to all parts of the communities, with different events for different groups.

Rev Bev Ramsden, Minister for both St John’s in Llandudno and St David’s in Craig-y-Don, said: “The Methodist churches are at the heart of the community. Every year we organise a number of different events in the run up to Christmas, and on the day itself, to appeal to all the different segments of the communities of Llandudno and Craig-y-Don.

“We have done variations of this in previous years and it has always been a winner.”

The programme started with a messy Christmas for families event at St John’s on Tuesday December 11, and is followed with a nativity photo opportunity at St John’s on Saturday December 16 at 4.00pm. All members of the family can take part in the scene for their own pictures.

There will be Blue Christmas at St John’s on Thursday December 20 which will be a short and simple service for those who find Christmas a difficult time because of sadness, stress, grief or fear.

Even during the hurly burly and bustle of getting Christmas many people need a few moments to stop, collect their thoughts and reflect on what Christmas is all about. So a shopper’s carol service will be held in St John’s on Friday December 21 at 12.00 noon
