THE latest plans for a major new leisure destination of the banks of the River Clyde have been unveiled by developers.
Part of the city's waterfront regeneration project, Glasgow Harbour Lifestyle Outlet is set to become a major leisure attraction in the city.
Totalling more than 250,000 sq ft in size, the site will host a number of retail, leisure and food and drink outlets.
This is the latest step in the £100m scheme to revitalise a gap site next to the riverside.

Developers, Peel Lifestyle Outlets, hope to create a "vibrant shopping destination with a balanced combination of entertainment and experience", with an estimated opening date of 2021.
Peel Lifestyle Outlets' Adrian Wright said: “The latest designs alongside the 3D model really brings to life the luxury leisure and retail experience we are aiming to create for the people of Glasgow.
"It will offer an excellent mix of leisure and entertainment underpinned by an exciting retail offering, rejuvenating the waterfront and creating a real destination of choice for the city and the many tourist visitors it receives.”
Bosses have also claimed that thousands of jobs will be created as a result of the project.
Up to 2,000 new roles in retail and construction could be established thanks to the west end project.
The designs were unveiled at an event held at the Radisson Red Hotel last week which launched the landmark development to professionals in Scotland’s property market.
It is estimated that, once complete, the Glasgow Harbour Lifestyle Outlet could generate around £45 million per annum to the city’s economy.
