TWO robbers who forced their way into a home by posing as police and breaking down the front door with a battering ram were each jailed for six years.
Christopher O'Brien, 29, of no fixed address, and Patrick McHugh, 41, from Glasgow, along with an accomplice, carried out the raid after seeing a Rolex watch for sale online.
However, the High Court in Glasgow heard one of the gang was snared when he suffered a flat tyre during the getaway.

The men shouted “it’s the police” as they burst into the house in Thornyflat Place, Ayr, while a woman was there with a three-year-old child.
One brandished a large knife as they yelled at her: “Where's the Rolex?”
They then searched through drawers and cupboards before stealing a £10,000 Volkswagen car owned by the woman’s partner.
O'Brien and McHugh pled guilty to assaulting and robbing the woman at her house on January 22.
