DAMAGE to overhead electric wires at Drumchapel is set to cause disruption for Glasgow commuters throughout the morning rush hour.
Trains between Edinburgh and Hyndland, Springburn and Garscadden, and also between Airdrie and Dalmuir / Balloch are all being affected.
Trains may be delayed by up to 15 minutes, cancelled or revised as a result.
It’s anticipated the disruption will continue until 9am.
Road transport will run between Westerton and Dalmuir to supplement the train service where required.
Customers travelling to and from Anniesland or Westerton may use services which run to and from Milngavie.
