A MAN has died after being struck by a car on Great Western Road.
Police Scotland confirmed the man was hit by a vehicle around 5.50am on the A82 near to Dalnottar Cemetery in Clydebank close to the Erskine Bridge slip road.
As previously reported by the Evening Times, the slip and a section of the busy road were closed this morning as emergency services attended the scene.

The female driver of the car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, however, her condition is not known.
The road was later reopened.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "A man has died following a serious road crash on the A82.

"Around 5.50am police received reports a man had been struck near to Dalnottar Cemetery.
"A female driver of the car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"The road was later reopened."
