The Duchess of Sussex’s father, Thomas Markle will give a live TV interview on Monday.
Mr Markle is expected to speak on ITV’s Good Morning Britain amid an ongoing estrangement from his daughter.
It will be his first television interview since Meghan’s pregnancy was announced in October, Good Morning Britain said.
It has been reported that he and Meghan have not spoken since her wedding in May, which he did not attend.
He pulled out days before the big day for medical reasons. It came shortly after allegations surfaced that he had staged photographs with the paparazzi.
Mr Markle has expressed his distress at the rift in a number of newspaper interviews since then, claiming he has tried to contact Meghan but has been “frozen out”.
In a previous TV interview he disclosed that, on the phone before the wedding, he had spoken to the Duke of Sussex about Donald Trump and Brexit.
