Vacant land in Dennistoun could soon be the home of a new block of flats.
Developers have applied for permission to build on land between Birkenshaw Street and Cumbernauld Road.
Plans include 48 flats - 10 with one bedroom and 38 with two bedrooms.
Documents submitted with the proposal state that the applicant has already had discussions with a housing associations looking to purchase or manage the full development once it's completed as mid-market rental affordable housing.
It adds: " The proposed use is a sympathetic and of character with its surroundings and neighbours, taking account of the setting, existing adjacent tenement buildings, location and infrastructure."
